Entwicklung einer PM-Plattform für das mioBook

Entwicklung einer PM-Plattform für das mioBook

bachelorsthesis

In various companies and other organisations, information and means of communication are increasingly provided by platforms that can be accessed by a browser without being dependent of a particular location. Portals represent a special kind of modern platforms, which easily allow to work with information, applications and processes through a single point of access. At the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich, the research area Man - Informatics - Organization (MIO) runs a PM-platform which is based on the WCMS called Plone. This bachelor thesis works on the extension of the existing platform through additional modules and a new design. Amongst other things, the extensions are based on the fundamentals of portals and especially of project portals. Apart from the documentation of the whole process of integrating the new elements into the existing PM-platform, these fundamentals represent the main focus of the present paper.
